my political alignment

Based on my posting, an American would think that I'm somehow a right-winger because I bash liberals at absolutely every turn. You couldn't be any more wrong. This is what happens when the only way you view politics is from an American MSM lens. I bash liberals (and liberalism by extension) because they believe in the establishment, try to defend it and stop any change by the people because of the irrefutable necessity to uphold the “rule of law" and similar bullshit. In the same breath, they claim to care and want to help, but offer no effective solution.

How could I or anyone like me who has been failed by these institutions liberals try to uphold at all costs still believe in them? I believe in what I see. Just like my atheism leads me to believe in tangible, peer-reviewed facts, I tend to go about institutions the same way. Why should a human made institution like the state receive a better treatment from my side than another human made institution that is organized religion? Especially when its center is supposed to be all powerful, omnipresent and all-knowing (kinda like the state claims to be)?

When I look at liberalism in its current form and nazism/zionism/the MAGA-cult, I have a hard time seeing any real difference besides the vocabulary. Your actions speak louder than your words. And when you (a liberal) block any meaningful change because of the economy, stability or decorum, why would I not put you in the same box as a follower of MAGA or Hitler? Is it because of your love for decorum? Or maybe your obsession with keeping things as is, regardless of how they hurt me? And I say "me" because I can only speak for myself, but I would certainly hope I'm not alone in not wanting to shoot myself in the foot by supporting those who want to keep things as is instead of worsening them. Thank you for nothing, I guess.

All this to say that I have no faith in state institutions, in representative aristocracy that was never democratic and was never even meant to be, and in establishment politicians. I wasn't simply failed as a poor resident of a Western country, but also as a young person and future climate crisis victim.

As someone still disenfranchised from any political representation, even representative aristocracy is withheld from me, the only way for me to hope for change is through bottom-up organizing and protest. But even that is villainized by establishment shills like liberals. Organizations like Just Stop Oil or Letzte Generation come to mind. But I don’t even dare go out to protest for causes I believe in because depending on who is in power, it might blacklist me from becoming a citizen and not just a tax payer with obligations, but no right to influence these obligations just like everyone else.

So for the couple of people (who are unlikely to see this now) who put me on right wing aligned block lists on Bluesky: I see you, but I would very much like to know what led you to believe that I could be a “BlueMAGA”, “Genocide Lover” or “Bigot” when all I stand for is dismantling the state and all of its forms of violence, first of them any social hierarchy. And somehow for that, we need to bash liberals so they lose legitimacy along with their farcical idea(l)s.

If that makes me a “bigot” (when I advocate for human rights1 whenever I get the chance) or a “genocide lover” (when all I post about is related to imperialist crimes against indigenous peoples), then you are kinda devaluing the meaning of those words, just like staunch Zionists are fighting hard to redefine what antisemitism is.2

Just my two cents. Now go back to getting all worked up about something some politician said. And don’t forget to remind everyone what your favorite politician did that everyone is “intentionally” omitting from their political discourse. You wouldn’t want that.

Peace x.

  1. BTW, trans rights are human rights every time of the day and if you disagree, “go trip over a knife”.

  2. Anti-semitism is targeted hate based on the target’s Jewish ancestry, religion or beliefs. It is not antisemitic to call for dismantling the apartheid state that is Israel or calling out Israel’s “right to exist” or “right to defend itself” for being fraudulent. And it definitely isn’t calling the same state out for its imperialist project that disregards the indigenous populations of the Levant based on some arbitrary document and promise from God that they somehow own us. I mean, WTF?
